Triceratops Frill bis-paused Above: From the Reliefs ofTriceratops was one of the last dinosaurs to appear in the Late Cretaceous. Like other members of the Ceratopsid family, these large quadrupeds sported bony frills, horns, and beak like mouths. This specimen is a fossilized piece of a Triceratops Frill, recovered on private land in South Dakota from the Hell Creek Formation. These fossils date back over 64,000,000 years to the Late Cretaceous and were once a part of the iconic dinosaur. Each frill
